FAQ

  • Can I use my FSA or HSA funds to pay for Lucent Insight sessions or courses?

No. Because Lucent Insight provides educational consulting rather than medical treatment, these services are generally not eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement. We recommend checking with your plan administrator for details.

  • Are Lucent Insight sessions considered medical care?

No. Lucent Insight provides educational rhythm consults only. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Our sessions are designed to help you better understand heart rhythm concepts and feel more prepared for conversations with your medical team.

  • Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No referral is required. Anyone interested in better understanding heart rhythm topics may schedule a session.

  • What’s the difference between Lucent EP and Lucent Insight?

Lucent EP is the professional entity founded by Dr. Brittney Heard, offering consulting, education, and collaboration across healthcare and industry.

Lucent Insight is the individual and caregiver-facing branch of Lucent EP, focused on educational consults and accessible resources.
